TheSundstrom SR315 ABE1 Combination Gas Filteris designed for protection against selected organic gases and vapours, inorganic gases and vapours, and acidic gases and vapours. It is suitable for use with compatible Sundstrom negative pressure respirators, including the SR900 and SR100 half masks and the SR200 full face respirator.
The SR315 is a Class ABE1 gas filter for workplaces requiring protection across selected A, B and E gas groups. Type A protects against selected organic gases and vapours, such as solvents, with boiling points above +65°C. Type B protects against selected inorganic gases and vapours, and Type E protects against selected acidic gases and vapours.
Where protection is also required against aerosols or particles, the SR315 can be combined with the Sundstrom SR510 P3 R particle filter. The Sundstrom SR221 pre-filter can also be used where suitable to help capture larger particles and protect the main filter from premature clogging.
The SR315 is not the standard ABE gas filter used for Sundstrom SR500 powered air respirator units. For SR500 PAPR ABE gas and vapour applications, the Sundstrom SR515 ABE1 gas filter is typically used.
