SMH's range of air filtration units, also known as air scrubbers or negative pressure units (NPUs)provides mobile filtered air extraction to control environments where airborne contaminants are a potential risk to human health, such as in demolition and remediation work. They are designed to create negative pressure within a portable decontamination unit facility or working enclosure. All SMH NPUs comply withBS EN 8520-2:2009.

The NPU 5000+ has a totally redesigned body. Weld-free, it is easy to clean and the polyethylene case is lightweight yet sturdy enough to withstand daily site use.
Its powerful motors provide a huge nominal airflow of5200m³/hrfor what is still a relatively compact size and lightweight. With particle filtration of99.995% at 0.3µm, the H14 HEPA filter cleans contaminated air of potentially harmful particles such as asbestos.
