SMH's range of air filtration units also known as air scrubbers or negative pressure units (NPUs)provides mobile filtered air extraction to control environments where airborne contaminants pose a risk to human health, such as in demolition and remediation work. They are designed to create negative pressure within a portable decontamination unit facility or working enclosure. All SMH NPUs comply withBS EN 8520-2:2009.
The NPU 2500+ is the latest addition to SMHs NPU range, featuring a totally redesigned, weld-free body. The moulded polyethylene case is lightweight yet sturdy, and easy to cleanideal for daily use on construction or remediation sites.
Its powerful motor delivers a nominal airflow of2750m³/hrin a compact, portable form. The integratedH14 HEPA filterprovides99.995% efficiency at 0.3µm, effectively removing harmful particles such as asbestos.
